You may need to paint your walls, either in your offices, home or school, but the thought of painting sends you into a state of depression, hiding under the covers wishing someone else would take of it so you can just live stress free.
Painting requires many things, first you must have enough paint and wouldn’t you know it, you are either short or have left over paint that you have to dispose of later. I know that you think about the environment so disposal of the extra paint can be a pain, so it ends up on a shelf somewhere until one year you see it and wonder what it was used for; you know what I’m talking about.
Then you need enough plastic sheeting to cover the floor, and I mean the whole floor, otherwise you will drip and step into it unknowingly and then step off the plastic and now there is paint on the floor. You will need tape to hold the plastic in place; and you will have to tape around all the windows.
Now you will have to get paint pans, pan liners, if the job is going to take longer than a day, otherwise there will be lots of clean up at the end of the day. You will need rollers and brushes that also need to be cleaned at the end of the day.
What about you? You know you will get more paint on you than on those walls, so you have to think about what to wear, both on your body and on your feet, because everything will have to be tossed out at the end of the painting nightmare you are about to begin.
No wonder people hide under the covers and pretend that the walls are fine… Now you could hire a crew to do the painting, and you can pay out a big chunk of change for a good job, but as you know, you only get what you pay for.
Now after all this you still have to move everything into the center of the room and cover it completely with plastic otherwise it will end up with paint on it no matter how careful you are being.
What a mess, the thought send shivers down my spine. All that expense, effort, time, and waste, think about it, everything you have to throw out after the job is done, all that plastic ends up in our landfills, terrible waste. Now you still have to wait for the paint to dry before you can put anything back. We have all been here, it’s not fun and if you’re paying someone else then you still have to wait for the job to be completed and wait for it to dry, and then you can go back to your life.
There’s a better way, the job will be done in a day or less no matter what, and fellow’s, you can do a room in just a couple of hours and be sitting down watching the football game with a very happy wife also. » Read more: Oh! The Woes of Painting
